Vellsam opens its doors to Almeria's secondary schools

Visit of 3rd year ESO students from IES Alhamilla to the central facilities of the Almerian multinational in Tabernas.

The Almeria-based multinational Vellsam Materias Bioactivas has received this week at its headquarters in Tabernas (Almeria) 3rd year ESO students from IES Alhamilla de Almeria, who were given a tour of all the company's facilities, with an obligatory stop at the laboratories where the new products that help to improve world agriculture are researched and manufactured.

 

During this visit, the students of the IES Alhamilla were able to see the central facilities, the factory and the work carried out in the laboratories for the research of microorganisms, as well as the physicochemical, aimed at the formulation and development of new fertiliser and biostimulant products to maintain the physiological state of the plant at a nutritional level.

 

Previously, not only during this academic year, but also in previous years, many schools have visited the Vellsam Materias Bioactivas facilities to learn more about this company from the province, a benchmark in the development of biotechnological solutions that improve crop yields and production all over the world.
