In 2016, the first edition of the Ecological Agriculture Symposium took place in El Ejido and, two years later, in 2018, we have decided at Vellsam, along with the COEXPHAL group of exporters, the Cajamar financial institution and the F&H magazine, to set up and organize the II Ecological Agriculture Symposium, which will take place at the Palacio de Exposiciones of El Ejido (Almería) on May 16 and 17, 2018, both in the morning and in the afternoon.

Brixtoner Evaluation of Cherry Tomatos sugar content

Brixtoner is a product which contains carbohydrates in the form of polysaccharides and organic matter. Polysaccharides can carry out two tasks in the interior of the plant: being an energy reserve product, or a structural component.

The fruit's flavor is generally related to the relative concentrations of sugars and acids in the fruit, particularly fructose and citric acid. The best combination -that is, the one with the best flavor- has high amounts of sugars and acids.

Clinical Trial about Vegetative Growth

In order to evaluate the effects of Enraivell on the root system and its indirect effect on vegetal development and growth in tomato plants, a greenhouse test was carried out in a sanded soil crop under an intensive ecological agricultural model in the municipality of Níjar.

In this experiment were used Laujar-variety Solanum Lycopersicum L. tomato plants. Seedlings from El Plantel seedbed were transplanted to the greenhouse with two true leaves. This study was carried out during the 2017-2018 season, the growing started on July 24, 2017.Ten plants were randomly analyzed based on the treatment and number of repetitions to evaluate their aerial and root systems.
